- I have an AST 910N 486DX/75 which I've tried both MHz 28.8 and USR
- Sportster 28.8 PCMCIA Modems. I abandoned using the MHz after I found
- that it would not handle ATDT5551212; etc. semi-colon commands very well.
- That is, it would get balky on sending a second command string, as
- allowed by the ";" if there was voice etc. on the line. I switched to the
- USR which solved that problem but brought one of its own. When I run
- Trumpet Winsock and Netscape, it stalls early in the connect. I switch to
- the MHz and no sweat.
-
- Any ideas what gives with the USR?
